Playa Bonita

	In some guides the playa bonita is mentioned as one of the most beautiful beaches of the Dominican Republic. We think that is true. The playa bonita is a long, windy beach. Some rocky hills on the right hand side divide it from the long beach of Las Terrenas. From one end to the other of the bay ,the beach is about 1 km long. Most of it is opened up , the rest are palmtrees, tropical vegetation and wild beaches.
		You reach the playa bonita on a rustic track from Las Terrenas which turns into a sandtrack at the beach. If you are looking for a dreambeach, this is it. Sunsets are breathtaking - postcardmaterial – caribbean style.
		Off the beach is a hidden and somewhat adventurous footpath towards Las Terrenas, which leads up through a small riverbed and over a hill. In autum the river swells hiphigh and a walk becomes an adventure trip. There is talk of a golfcourse at the playa bonita, for the time being through cows still grazing peacefully on the said land.
