our Hotel 
Our Hotel Atlantis is a small familiar and familyorientatet house
direcly at the beach of Playa Bonita.
It is situated in
the middle of a wellgrounded tropical garden, about 15 minutes away by
car from the lively holiday
resort Las Terrenas. If your priority is calm, wellbeeing, sportive
activity in a beautiful surroundings and an exquisit hotelservice, then

Atlantis – how a hotel was built trough dreams
Once
upon a time, there were a few young europeans who in 1980s discovered
the wild beauty of the Playa Bonita, when there was not one tourist in
sight. There was only a rustic path and just a few fishermen who had
anchored their boats at the end of the bay.

Young
people love to dream and so they imagined how it would be to built a
house on this spot, far away from the little fishervillage of Las
Terrenas. So they began building and out of it grew a one off hamlet,
grouping small stonehouses with crooked corners, inner courtyards,
columns, towers, galleries. The entries are playfull staircases,
mystical gipsy signs on floors and walls.
They
created a parklike garden, where they planted the most beautiful flowers,
that could be found in the neigborhood or on their excursions around the
island.

All
year around friends came to
see them, many of them artists or writers and so one just went an
building more and more. The small humlet became the Hotel Atlantis, a
hotel surrounded by mystery an flair.
Nowadays the Atlantis is worldwide renown and every year
people surcome to it’s mysterious charm.

little house amidst the garden. Cozy rocking chairs on the veranda,
two generously sized rooms (one with a beautiful french bed) and small
drawingroom an a bathroom in pink marple. There is enough place for 2 to
4 people and hence a garanty for a good holiday. |

Up
a beautiful staircase, it is situated above the restaurant. View on to
the sea and the restaurant garden from your huge bed. Even the bath
looks towards the ocean.

Our
dreamfull singleroom. A little house all on it’s own. This must be the
alternative for newly “just in love” in comparison
to a suite. Also Acapulco has a marblebath and views on to the
garden.
